Chinfunshi Chimpanzee Camp

Located 65 km west of Chingola on the banks of the Kafue River, Chimfunshi is a chimpanzee sanctuary and now one of the largest in the world. The orphanage is a tourist attraction for those living in the Copperbelt towns and for international visitors to Zambia.
The orphanage is also home to other rescued animals such as baboons, vervet monkeys, parrots, antelopes, owls, buzzards, sheep, and peacocks.
