LUSAKA CITY TOUR – Half Day

Half-Day (From 08:30 – 13:30 Hrs.)- Pick up from within CBD of Lusaka or from some places within Lusaka such as Kenneth Kaunda International Airport and hotels or Lodges this includes Lusaka Museum with a lot of History on our Mother Zambia, Kabwata Cultural Village within the Township of Kabwata, Chilenje Township (Former residence of Zambia’s First Republican President), Drive through Mtendere Township To City Center Drive to Soweto Market & see how business conducted in these different places.

Full-Day (From 08:30 to 17:00Hrs)- This includes Pick Up / Drop Off from within CBD of Lusaka or from some places within Lusaka such as Kenneth Kaunda International Airport and hotels or Lodges. This includes Lusaka Museum with a lot of history on our mother Zambia, Kabwata Cultural Village within the township of Kabwata, Chilenje Township (Former Residence of Zambia’s first Republican President), drive through Mtendere township to City Center Drive to Soweto Market & see how business conducted in these different places and include all the above & Munda Wanga Botanical Gardens plus, traditional Zambian dish for lunch served with a soft drink & mineral water. FULL DAY CHAMINUKA GAME RESERVE TRIP

Spend a full day at the Chaminuka Sanctuary that includes 72 species of Zambian mammals, reptiles and amphibians and some 300 species of birds many native to the area and others visiting the Chaminuka lakes and wetlands. Lunch is served at the Chaminuka Lodge in between which you will have the opportunity to view the superb art on display as well as pre-arranged visits to the local schools and/or villages around the Chaminuka area.

WILDLIFE & NATURE: 

The Chaminuka Nature Reserve has an abundance of wildlife – there are more than 72 species in the Park, including Puku, and Kafue Lechwe, that are exclusive to Zambia. On Game Drives guests will have the possibility of seeing a variety of cats, primates, reptiles, as well as Lion, Elephant, Giraffe, Burchells’ Zebra, Spotted Hyena, Porcupines, Roan, Eland, Sable, Blue Wildebeest, Hartebeest, Tsessebe, Buffalo, Impala, Bushbuck, Warthog, Buffalo, and many others, including Birdlife which makes it a perfect destination for bird-watchers.

ART: 

Chaminuka has a huge private collection of contemporary African paintings and sculpture as well as traditional artifacts – some one thousand pieces – acquired from all over Africa over a period of 50 years. The collection spreads throughout the house, the guest suites and the gardens and highlights the African culture and way of life over the centuries. The collection features the works of many Zambian artists.
